Mary Molter Obituary
Mary Lou is survived by her husband John Wesley (Wes) Molter, who was married to Mary Lou for 62 years. Her daughter Kristin Beth (Molter) Dwyer, son-in-law Jeffrey Thomas, daughter-in-law Bonnie (Halvorsen) Molter, Grandchildren Allen Molter, Shane Molter, Shannon (Molter) Harris and Bryce Harris, Cameron Dwyer, Rebecca Dwyer and Rachael Dwyer, Great Grandsons Arik Molter, Jacob Molter, Collin Harris and Logan Harris, as well as several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her sons David John Molter and Erik John Molter, her parents George and Ihla (Leer) Thurber, and sister Judith Annette (Thurber) Wagner.
Born in Chicago, Mary Lou was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who also worked full time as an administrative assistant at Little Friends Inc. in Naperville, as well as a volunteer at Wayside Cross Ministries in Aurora.
Mary Lou was best known for her countless parties and was always the most thoughtful host imaginable.
Private interment to be planned at a later date.

Mary Lou was volunteer extraordinaire in service to her Lord at Wayside Cross Ministries. Wayside Cross Ministries. She served on the Board of Directors. She also for many years served on Lifespring Partners and was instrumental in initiating the Annual auction.
She also along with Wes served on the Hope Outreach Committee and was instrumental in the expansion of resale stores in Aurora and Elgin. What I remember most is continually engaged in recruiting volunteers and financial donors for Wayside. I thank God for Mary Lou. She was a source of inspiration to me and others.
