Mary Morelli Obituary
Mary Muscari was born on September 25, 1926, in her family home at 2157 N. McVicker Avenue in Chicago, Illinois. She passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, in her daughter's home surrounded by family in McKinney, Texas.
She was the beloved daughter of Rose and Bruno Muscari, the fourth of eleven children and the eldest sister in a close-knit and loving family.
On March 22, 1947, Mary married the love of her life, Lou Morelli. Together they built a beautiful life and were blessed with seven children: Lou (Iva), Rose (Jerry), Paul (Genevieve), Carol (Dave), Kathy (Fred), Joe (Doreen), and Debi (Steve).
God richly blessed Mary (and Lou) with 15 grandchildren: Louis (Linda) and Lisa (Brad); Kari (Chris) and Brian (Lori); David (Liz), Alina (John), and Michael; David Christian; Kristina (David), Joey, and Karen; Anthony (Brittany); Colby (Taylor), Casey, and Haley (Tiras).
God richly blessed Mary with 22 great grandchildren, including her beloved great grandchild, Grace, who was called home to Heaven before birth: Louis Christian, Braden, and Cameron; Caden (Val), Gabe (Mariah), John, Max, Colton; Nathan and Jake; Ginevra, Lily, and Ruby; Brooke, Hudson, and Kate; Giana and Riley; Hayes, Harper, and Hazel.
Her growing legacy now includes three great-great-grandchildren: Nash, Grady, and Baby Mills, soon to arrive - a continuing testament to God's faithfulness through the generations.
We take comfort in knowing that her final breath on earth was followed by a loving embrace from her Heavenly Father. We imagine her escorted into Heaven in a grand procession, greeted by angels singing, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." There, she was reunited with her devoted husband and the loved ones who had gone before her.
Her life was a blessing.
Her love was a gift.
Her legacy will live on in every generation that follows.
