Mary Frances Morgan

Mary Frances Coley Morgan, age 84, of Rockwall, TX, passed away October 2, 2025. She was born on May 15, 1941, in Hollis, Oklahoma to Harry Mead Coley Sr. and Sarah Frances (Phillips) Coley. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Born and raised in Hollis, Oklahoma, where the Coley family presided for generations. Mary attended Cottey College, Nevada, Missouri. She then transferred to and graduated from the University of Oklahoma, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma.

She deeply loved her friends and family, which included all animals. On her and Jerry's farm in Copeville, Texas, there were always a pack of dogs, horses, emus, and an abundance of birdfeeders. Her faith with the Lord ran deep, and she attended Holy Trinity by the Lake Episcopal Church in Heath, Texas. Mary was a kind soul who valued her relationships with friends and former co-workers. She kept in touch with friends from childhood, college, and her career at Hewlett Packard and Phillips Technologies.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Jerry Morgan; parents: Harry Coley Sr. and Sarah Coley; sister: Geri Coley Smith; and brothers: James M. Coley and Harry M. Coley.

Mary is survived by her sisters-in-law: Ann Stanley Coley, Melana Lanford Coley, and Lynn Morgan.

Nieces and nephews: Lynn Smith Helms, Dean Smith, Lisa Smith Perkins.

Our family would like to express our gratitude for all the love and support she received from those of you we may not have had the pleasure of knowing.

Funeral services will be held November 1, 2025 at Holy Trinity by the Lake in Heath, Texas. A communion service will take place at 5:00pm followed by a columbarium service at 6:00pm.
