Mary Ann was a one of the first people to offer friendship when I joined the elementary faculty as the Library Media Specialist in East Granby in 1987. She was a 4th grade teacher who was very active in school activities. She shared her love of reading with her students. She chaperoned the after-school skiing club at Ski Sundown for many years. I have many happy memories of time spent with Mary Ann.

I first met Mary Ann in the fall of 1985 as I began my new job in East Granby as a 5th grade teacher. Mary Ann was a 4th grade teacher at that time. We taught in an open space environment (no walls) so we "saw" each other all day. I have many memories of Mary Ann as a co-worker. Sherry Goodwin
