Mary Sue Morrow, 73, of El Paso, Arkansas, passed from this life on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Baptist Health in Little Rock. She was born February 4, 1952 in Bradford to the late Russell Lee and Betty Sue (McCall) Van Horn. Mrs. Morrow was employed by AC Delco Delphi for more than 30 years where she worked in the laboratory. She assisted in developing many automotive components such as cruise control and various other intricate technology. She was a Life member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary and was a very skilled pool player. She played on various singles, doubles and team leagues, not only in billiards but bowling as well and was an avid golfer. Mary was a talented seamstress and loved to sew and she also had a passion for nature. She found great pleasure in watching and feeding birds and growing flowers of all types. Mrs. Morrow was a fan of western movies and Elvis Presley.
She is survived by her son, David Van Horn; grandchildren, Sarah Van Horn and Aaron Van Horn; great-grandson, Russell James "R.J." Van Horn; her siblings, James Terry Van Horn, Danny Gene Van Horn (Pam), Juanita Kay Litaker, John Glen Polston and Joan Lynn Boatright (Patrick).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Galen R. Morrow; her companion of 18 years, John Sayad and 2 brothers, Larry Lee Van Horn and Thomas Daniel Van Horn.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Smith Cemetery in Bradford. Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob – Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
