Mary L. Musacchia passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 84. She was born on Saturday, March 2, 1940 to the late Lucille and Joseph T. Musacchia. She was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana. Mary was a devout catholic, who seldom missed a religious service and enjoyed attending the Blessed Mother Feast. She was the older sister of three triplets, and was the caretaker to all of her nieces and nephews. Mary loved to travel and visit the casino.
Mary is survived by her sisters, Frances Ann Willie (Hosea), Joann Thompson (the late Tommy); nephews, Hosea, Jr. and Craig Willie, Terry and Kevin Thompson, Christopher and Jody Baiamonte; 13 great-nieces and nephews, and 4 great-great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille and Joseph T. Musacchia; sister, Lucille Baiamonte; and great-nephew, Clint Thompson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, 9:00 am - 10:30 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, LA 70401. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, 14450 Hwy 442, Tickfaw, Louisiana 70466, on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow in Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Cemetery, Tickfaw, Louisiana.
