Joseph Charles Musacchia

Joseph "Joey" Musacchia passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at the age of 33. He was born in Metairie and was a resident of Destrehan, LA. Joey was a 2009 graduate of East Jefferson High School where he played football and graduated with several honors. After graduating from high school Joey would go on to attend UNO where he also played football. He was an avid football fan, and loved the Saints. He was always a jokester making everyone laugh. He was always there to lend a helping hand when needed. Joey also loved to cook, working in the restaurant business and was also a steelworker in the commercial construction business.
Beloved son of Yvette Guidroz Grice and Ronald "Ronnie" Grice. Loving brother of Brooke Musacchia Gilliam (Kasie) and Tiffany Greene (Kenny). Step-brother of J.P. Boudreaux (Jessica), Derek Grice, Marcy Grice, and Christopher Grice. Godfather and Uncle of Malakai Fiffie and uncle of Devin Fernandez and Keith Champagne, Jr. Nephew of Tommy Guidroz (Stephanie), David Guidroz (Beverly), Brenda Guidroz and Terry Exsterstein (Bobby). Cousin and friend of Brittany Guidroz and Victoria Exsterstein. He was also survived by many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Joey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Yves Guidroz and Juanita Guidroz; uncle, Albert "T-Boy" Guidroz; and cousin, Kaylee Yohn.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at L. A. Muhleisen and Son Funeral Home, 2607 Williams Blvd., Kenner on Monday, October 21, 2024. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with prayers in the parlor to follow at 3:00 p.m.
