He was born on October 4, 1944, and was a resident of Slidell, LA for the past 22 years. He was predeceased by his loving parents Herman Moore and Regina Higgins Moore, his brother Eddie Moore and his sister Sharon Moore Avril. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Deborah “Debi” Fleming Moore, his daughter Kim Moore Calamari, his son-in-law Henry P. Calamari, two grandchildren Henry J. After graduating from East Jefferson High School in 1961, Bob enlisted with the Army National Guard for six years and subsequently retired from the US Post Office after 37 years of service. He was a life-long bowler having bowled 6 perfect 300 games, an 800 series, as well as an avid softball, golf, and tennis player whose 4.0 Seniors USTA team made it to Nationals. His love of singing started as a young adult in the St. Agnus Catholic Church choir which eventually landed him the honor of singing the National Anthem at the opening of many New Orleans Zephrys baseball games, once at a New Orleans Jazz basketball game as well as winning numerous karaoke contests.
Bob never met a stranger with his outgoing personality, his witty sense of humor, his love of telling jokes, always the first one on the dance floor and the last one to leave a party.
