Susan Saunders Eumont

Susan Saunders Eumont, a resident of Slidell, LA, born in New Orleans, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 25th, at the age of 79. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ernest Lucas Eumont Jr.; her three children, Brett, Angele, and Kenric Eumont; her three grandchildren, SarahBeth Eumont Cass, Zachary Jude Eumont, and Ashley Brashear; and two great-grandchildren, Lola Rita and Luke Jude Cass. Watching both her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow and accomplish milestones brought her great joy. After graduating from East Jefferson High School in 1963, she attended business school and began her career in bookkeeping. Her life's journey also included modeling, coaching personal development, interior design, and sales for Creten Homes, earning the title of top salesperson several times. Susan's laughter and fun spirit will be missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, on Saturday, December 6, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM. An Episcopal Service will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM. The burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
