Mary Ann Ottenbaker

With deep love and sadness, we announce the passing of Maryann Ottenbaker, who died peacefully on June 1, 2025, at the age of 92.
Born on March 14, 1933, Maryann lived a life defined by devotion to her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Ottenbaker, and together they built a life rooted in love, family and deep faith.
Maryann was the cherished mother of four children: David Ottenbaker, Susan Zaleski, Deborah Gregory, and Lisa Gotko. Her legacy continues through her nine adored grandchildren: Derek, Keaghan, and Colin Ottenbaker; Michael Zaleski, Anna Cottrell; Matthew Gregory, Kristin Morgan; Audrey Gotko Knoll, and Natalie Gotko; and her great-granddaughter, Evelyn Morgan, who brought her special joy in her final year.
Maryann found happiness and contentment in the simple things: time spent with family, homemade meals around the table, and the laughter of her children and grandchildren. Her unwavering love left a mark on everyone she knew and she will be remembered always for the deep love she poured into her family.
A funeral service will be held to honor her memory on Monday, June 9th at 11:00 am at St. Andrews Catholic Church in downtown Rochester, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the OPC in Rochester in Maryann's name.
