Mary Palmer, age 83, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023.
Mary was born in Sumner County, Tennessee, on December 22, 1939, to her parents James and Martha Savely.
Mary enjoyed gardening, and tending to her flower beds. She was also a talented quilter. She will be remembered as a loving mother with a kind heart. Mary will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Mary Lee (Savely) Palmer is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Charles Raymond Palmer Sr.; children, Mary Evelyn Wallen (Pete Wallen), Elizabeth Johnson, Charles Raymond Palmer Jr., Roy Edwin Palmer (Sandy), Rita Christine Happel; grandchildren, Aaron Willhite, Christian Happel, Alyssa Happel, Alexis Harris (James Harris), Darrell Eugene Young, Amy Young, Tara Reese Wilmore (Jay Wilmore); great grandchildren, Jayden Hunter Young, Dawson Cooper Young, Carson Harris, Eli Wilmore; and her cat, Tigger. She was preceded in death by her father, James Robert Savely; and her mother, Martha Nell (Hicks) Savely.
Funeral Services will be conducted at Crestview Funeral Home and Memory Gardens, on Thursday, October 19, 2023.
Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 A.M., and continue until service time at 1:00 P.M.. Burial in Crestview Memory Gardens will immediately follow funeral services.
