Mary Payne Obituary
Mary Alice Payne, passed away September 3, 2023 at the age of 78. She was born in Selma, Alabama on April 8, 1945. She was a 1963 graduate of A.G. Parish High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney R. and Emma L. Prescott; husband, Charles Payne; brother, Paul Prescott and sister, Carolyn (Roger) Duke.
She is survived by her sisters, Betty (Kenneth) Brady and Faye (Raymond) Dobbs and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Graveside services will be Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Rod Rochester officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. There will be no visitation.
Pallbearers will be James Chandler, Jonathan Chandler, Austin Chandler, Ben Absher, Mark Harsha and Terry King.

We are so sorry we did not know about Mary's death. Rusty loved his Aunt Mary and talked about her and his Uncle Charles with fond memories.
