Mary Pyrzynski

Mary Pyrzynski, born on March 10, 1970, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away peacefully in Louisville, Kentucky, on February 18, 2026. A woman of immense warmth and kindness, Mary was devoted to her family and friends throughout her life. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Jerry Willing, and her son, Nicholas Kleinhenz. Mary is also survived by her sisters, Karyn Moreland (Ken) and Laura Pyrzynski, along with her cherished nephews, Kenny and Kevin Moreland, as well as numerous extended family members and friends who were touched by her spirit.

Mary’s journey through life was marked by her unwavering compassion and enthusiasm for nurturing those around her. Known for her open heart and welcoming kitchen, she had a remarkable ability to gather people together, often going out of her way to ensure everyone felt cared for and loved. Her strength of character shone through in her commitment to her work; in 2023, she was honored with the Aspire Award for Outstanding Team Impact while at OneAmerica, where she dedicated more than ten years of her professional life. Most recently, Mary joined Voya, continuing her legacy of excellence in the workplace.

A proud graduate of the Bishop Noll Institute in Hammond, Indiana, Mary valued education and personal growth. Her creative spirit was evident in her many hobbies. She had a passion for crafting, frequently sewing and knitting beautiful pieces that symbolized her thoughtful nature. Mary found joy in gardening and cooking, often inviting others to share in the culinary delights she prepared. Her love for board and role-playing games provided countless opportunities for laughter and connection with her loved ones, further highlighting her vibrant personality.

Mary's legacy will live on through the memories shared by those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her parents, Edward and Suzanne Pyrzynski, predeceased her, leaving a poignant reminder of the familial love that shaped her character.

Services celebrating Mary's life will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Newcomer Funeral Home in East Louisville, Kentucky, starting with a visitation at 5:00 PM and concluding at 8:00 PM. A funeral service will take place the following day, Friday, February 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM

Mary Pyrzynski will be dearly missed, but her legacy of kindness, creativity, and love will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
