Mary "Molly" Quinn 95, of Pompton Plains, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025 in the loving care of her family.
Born to John J. and Mary C. Duffy in West Pittston, PA, Molly attended St. John the Evangelist School and later graduated from Wyoming Seminary School of Business. She met her future husband, Martin Quinn of New Jersey, and after they married, they settled in Pompton Plains. Together, they built a life and worked side by side as the company they founded, Quinn Service Agency, where Molly retired as secretary/treasurer.
Molly was deeply devoted to her community and church, volunteering her time for various parish activities and assisting with the Dial-A-Ride program. She cherished her time at the shore with her family, where the sounds of the boardwalk, provided the perfect backdrop for countless treasured memories. She and her husband shared a passion for adventure, traveling across the United States together and discovering new places. An avid reader, Molly made weekly trips to the library, always in search of the next crime thriller. Above all, she was a devoted Nana whose home was the heart of family gatherings. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will forever remember her warmth, especially during her Christmas celebrations, filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable traditions. Her warm, caring nature and her dedication to family and service left a lasting impact on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Molly is survived by her children, Karen DeBellonia, Kathleen Engelhardt and Daniel Quinn; her grandchildren, Patrick DeBellonia, Brian DeBellonia and his wife, Anna, Joseph DeBellonia, Lyndsay Frank and her husband Brian, Kerry DeBellonia, Danielle Rankin and her husband Doug, Lauren Brigham and her husband John, Kelli Engelhardt, Brittany Murphy and her husband Eddie, Jacqueline Quinn and Jennifer Quinn; and her great grandchildren, Gianna, Jase, Owen, Dante, Gavin, Abby, Charlotte, Jay, Hailey, Miles and Quinn.
Molly was predeceased by her husband, Martin and her sons-in-law, James and Ricky.
Funeral services will be held privately for the family.
