Mary Rabon Obituary
Mrs. Mary Louise Paul Rabon, age 79, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at her home. Born on July 29, 1946, in Loris, SC, she was the daughter of the late George Madison Paul, Sr. and the late Sadie Louise Durant Paul. Mrs. Rabon worked with AVX until her retirement and was of the Baptist faith. In her personal life, she was tirelessly devoted to her grandchildren whom she adored, tending to her flowers, and enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Donald C. Rabon, Sr.; children, Donald C. Rabon, Jr. (Adriene), and Amanda L. Prosser (Robert); grandchildren, Airyonna Prosser, Rihonna Prosser, Lilyonna Prosser, Christina Rabon, and Katara Rabon; brothers, Elder George M. Paul, Jr. (Betty) and Stansel Paul; sister, Linda Rabon, and sister-in-law, Priscilla Paul.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rabon was predeceased by her brothers, Taylor Paul and Byron Paul; sister-in-law, Gail Paul, and brother-in-law, Charlie G. Rabon.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Elder George M. Paul, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM at Hardwick Funeral Home.
