Mary A. Ris, 66, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. 

She was born on March 17, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky the late Thomas Edward Ashley and Marguerite Alice (Allcorn) Ashley. 

Mary dedicated her 43 year career as a loving and caring nurse. 

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Ris and a host of friends. 

Per Mary's wishes cremation was chosen and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. 

The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions in Mary’s memory be made to Breakthrough T1D Juvenile Diabetes Foundation PO Box 5021 Hagerstown MD 21741-5021.
