Lucy Ris Obituary
She was born September 11, 1925, in Warren, OH, the daughter of Lawrence J. and Blanche O. (Williams) Quiggle.
Lucy was a member of SCOPE and the Farm Bureau. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, canning and playing bingo. Lucy worked at Copperweld Steel and during WWII she helped make shell casing for the war effort.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph Cook of Warren, OH and Joseph Phillips of Austintown, OH; daughter, Martha (Terry) Marvin of Leavittsburg, OH; grandchildren, Mike, Tracie, Daniel (Sam), Michelle (Shaun), and Terrance (Jessica); great-grandchildren, Alex (Kristi), Tiffany (Jake), Cassidy (Zack), Owen, Jeseca, Veronica, Daniel and Breanna; and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Ris; son, Robert Cook; daughter, Mary Phillips; brothers, George, Donald, Emery, Robert, Carl, and Harry Quiggle.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
Friends may call from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Champion Township Cemetery, Champion, OH.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
