Mary Robinson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by House-Rawlings Funeral Home - London on Dec. 19, 2025.
Mary Jane Hasty Robinson was born on December 5, 1947 and went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2025. She reunited with her long-loved late husband, Reverend (Coach) Harold Robinson.

Mary Jane was the daughter of the late Virgie and Bob Hasty. She leaves behind two sisters, Ercel Cromer (late Jack Cromer) and Shirley Cromer (late Jimmy Cromer) of the Mt. Vernon area. Mary Jane was the mother to Leah (John) Dotson of Richmond, KY, and Nana to three grandchildren, Shelby Dotson, Dylan Dotson, Reagan Rigney, and one great grandson, Maxton Wayne Keith Hubbuch. She will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Mary Jane comes from an educational background in business. She previously owned a clothing business with her daughter and was a former Mary Kay Sales Consultant.

More importantly, Mary Jane stood by her husband's side in ministry for nearly 60 years. She was a song leader, pianist and a children's ministry leader throughout her life. She never gave up on her profound faith. Her favorite Bible verse was Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." This is a true testament of her life.

House-Rawlings Funeral Home will be holding a private service along with a burial at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky. Also, there will be a Celebration of Life at Morning Pointe Assisted Living in Richmond, Kentucky where she spent the last 2 ½ years of her life.

The Robinson family would like to thank Morning Pointe Assisted Living of Richmond, KY, along with Hospice Care Plus of Richmond, KY, for the love and compassionate care they gave Mary Jane and her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Hospice Care Plus, 350 Isaacs Lane, Richmond, KY 40475 in memory of Mary Jane Robinson or to Morning Pointe Foundation, 1400 Gibson Bay Drive, Richmond, KY 40475 in memory of Mary Jane Robinson. This foundation is a scholarship fund for those going into the medical field at Eastern Kentucky University.

The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
