Mary Ruby Obituary
Mary Frances "Mimi" Ruby, age 79, of McKeesport, died August 26, 2023, at McKeesport Select Specialty Hospital. Born February 27, 1944, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Cardas) Vesonder and wife of Richard Ruby. Mary was a 1962 graduate of McKeesport High School. She was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Patrick Church. Mary enjoyed painting, crafts, traveling, and spending time with her family and cat. Her family will always cherish her as a warm and caring person. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Marie Ruby; four nieces, and two nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by siblings, Sylvia Riorden, Ronald Vesonder, and Regis Vesonder. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Church. Golly I could remember playing with her in her big corner home in McKeesport. We were almost the same age and she was always great to talk to and play hide and seek in her home. Yes her sister, Sylvia and so many other 1st cousins had a blast there, also remember the sleep overs. Fun times, rest in peace and tell all the family members hello. Love you, miss you, prayers.
