Mary Louise Salazar passed away on December 22, 2024, at age 68. She was born on May 31, 1956, in Albuquerque, NM. She was a dedicated mother and wife who made friends everywhere she went. There was not a person she would meet that she would not strike up a conversation with. She had a beautiful smile and a comforting personality. She loved doing arts and crafts and going shopping. She was always changing up her home interior, especially her kitchen with different designs. She liked going for walks and being with family. She adored her dog Lambchop and took him everywhere. She is survived by her husband Jose Salazar and her daughter Marlena Salazar, partner Matthew Herrera, daughter Michelle Montez, partner Vincent Montano and daughter Melissa Salazar-Aragon and husband Marcel. Grandchildren Jeramie and Aryanna Salazar-Kent, Alyx and Danai Montez, Marcel, Monique, Maverick and Melino Salazar-Aragon, and her sister Priscilla Gutierrez and brother Rudy Lopez. She is preceded in death by her parents Genovevo and Lala Lopez, Granddaughter Desiree Salazar- Kent, brothers Epie and Joe Lopez. Services for Mary will be held at Trujillo Funeral Home on January 8 th at 630pm for viewing and Rosary to follow. Mass will be held at Holy Family Church on January 9 th at 9 am. Gathering with family and friends to follow Mass. Details on location to come.
