Mary Scott

Mary Scott, age 69, of Lexington, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born November 26, 1955, in Cincinnati, OH, a daughter of the late Edward and Doris Emma LeFave Lloyd. Mary was a retired Oncology Nurse with Lexington Clinic after 40 plus years of service. Her kindness and generosity towards others were her trademarks. Mary would do anything for anyone, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog, Lucy. She was also a wonderful cook.
Mary is survived by: her daughter, Sarah (Stephen) Robinson of Lexington; her two grandsons, Logan and Landon Robinson; two brothers, Peter (Judith) Lloyd of Newport, KY, Victor Lloyd of Covington, KY; a sister, Diana (John) Durbin of Elizabethtown, KY; two nieces, Catherine (Jason) Ayers, and Jennifer Yates; and two nephews, David Lloyd, and John Michael Durbin; the father of her daughter, Michael Scott; and extended close family, Jim and Peggy Robinson. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory Lloyd.
A Celebration of Life visitation will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 PM Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Harrodsburg Road.
