Mary Shepherd

Mary Shepherd, age 68 of Erie, passed away Monday, October 31, 2022 at Saint Vincent Hospital, with her daughter Sharnell at her side. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama, September 8, 1954 to the late Alberta Shepherd.
Mary was a devoted mother and sister, and a loyal friend to many. She was well known for her generous and hospitable spirit. Her history of employment included nursing, baking, and restaurant management. She loved to entertain her family and friends with her cooking. She also enjoyed crocheting, gardening, collecting dolls and china; and growing house plants.
Mary was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1996. She was an active member of the Bayview Congregation. She loved preaching and teaching bible truths to others.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Sharnell Shepherd, her siblings Ricky Shepherd, Nathaniel Shepherd, and Dennis Sheppard. Mary is further survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and her large spiritual family.
Friends are invited to call on the family, Friday, November 4, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown 602 West 10th Street, Erie.
