Mary Elizabeth Snyder, 65, of Nanjemoy, Maryland, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the University of Maryland Capital Regional Medical Center in Largo.
Born on December 18, 1959 in Dunedin, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Anthony C. Rubio and Audrey Rubio. Mary Beth was a Food Service Manager for the Charles County Board of Education for many years. She also served as an Election Judge for the Charles County Board of Elections during the voting season. Mary Beth enjoyed camping, traveling, rock collecting, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mary Beth was preceded in death by brother Michael Christopher Rubio; son-in-law Michael Deaton.
Mary Beth is survived by her husband William Snyder; children William Patrick Snyder, Kellie Elizabeth Edith Snyder (Randy Williams), and Michelle Anne Deaton; grandchildren Tyler James Pearce, Kyla Madison Smith, Mickey Calin Williams, Ruby Kay Williams, and Collin Raye Williams; siblings John Rubio (Shara), Wendy Ashoff (John), Robin Lee Oke (Timothy), and Susan McGonnel (Jim).
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, October 13, 2025 at 2PM at Christ Church Durham Parish, 8700 Ironsides Road, Nanjemoy, Maryland 20664 with Repass to follow in the church hall.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary Beth's name to The Autism Project (TAPI), P. O. Box 1518, North Beach, Maryland 220714 or online at: http://www.theautismprojectmd.com/donate.
