She was the wife of the late Charles E. St. Laurent of Ipswich who died in October of 2015 and the late Wilfred L. Carpenter of Salem, NH who died in Sept of 1988.
She is survived by her son, Wilfred N. Carpenter and his fiance' Karen M. Champoux of Salisbury; her step-son Michael J. St. Laurent of Danvers; two step-daughters, Susan E. Hardy of Rockport and Dianna M. Gibson of Methuen; three grandchildren, Justin A. Carpenter of Salem, NH, Laura M. and Nicole R. Carpenter of Methuen and three great grandchildren, Kenna and Caitlyn Carpenter and Isla Worthen.
A visitation and funeral for family and friends will be held Monday, August 1 at 10 am at the Whittier-Porter Funeral Home, 6 High Street, Ipswich followed by a celebration of life Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 1 pm in Our Lady of Hope Church, 1 Pineswamp Road, Ipswich. Interment will be held in the Highland Cemetery, Ipswich at a later date. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the US Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, 391 Michigan Ave NE, Washington, DC 20017
