Mary Elizabeth Standfield

Mary Elizabeth Standfield, 82, of Plainfield, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on
November 7, 2025.
Mary was a strong-willed and passionate woman whose dedication and integrity left a
lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She built a long and respected career as a
Quality Control Inspector at C.R. Bard, where her keen attention to detail and willingness to
take on multiple roles made her an invaluable member of the organization. Her
commitment to excellence and her multifaceted skills earned her admiration from
colleagues and friends alike.
Outside of her professional achievements, Mary was full of life and joy. She loved cooking,
dancing, and singing, and her energy and laughter could brighten any room. She was the
heart and strength of her family - a source of guidance, warmth, and unconditional love.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband, John Standfield; her daughter, Cynthia Milton;
and her sons, John Standfield, Keith Standfield, and Jeffrey Standfield. She is also survived
by her loving sister, Carolyn Johnson.
Mary leaves behind her cherished grandchildren - Savonne Standfield, Christopher Milton,
Monique Milton, Ryan Clement, Kimberly Clement, LeSean Standfield, DeSuan Standfield,
Jaden Standfield, and Elijah Standfield - and her adored great-grandchildren - Amajay
Miller, Bryce Caudle, Christopher Milton Jr., Brooklyn Milton, and Leilani Standfield - all of
whom will carry her spirit and love forward.
Mary will be remembered for her strength, her kindness, and her deep love for family. Her
life was a testament to resilience, joy, and compassion, and her memory will forever remain
in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
