With hearts full of love, we sadly say farewell to Mary Ann Stulz, 69, who returned home to Heaven on February 7, 2025. Born in 1955, Mary Ann grew up in Cold Spring, KY in a bustling household as the youngest sister to her five ever-protective older brothers. She graduated from Bishop Brossart High School and met the love of her life, Jim, at Jim's Fill In back in 1975, where a chance encounter blossomed into a beautiful journey of marriage and family. Together, they navigated life with an abundance of love and humor, raising two kids along the way.
As a mother, Mary Ann was the epitome of a doting, fun and loving woman. She often wowed her family with home-cooked meals, and you'd never miss a Sunday without one of her legendary breakfasts. Her creativity knew no bounds-whether drawing, painting, or sewing, her hands were always busy crafting love into every project, a trait she lovingly carried into her role as Grandma. Storytime with her grandkids was a cherished ritual, much like their day trip adventures and overnights, and she never missed an opportunity to be their biggest cheerleader at every event, showering them with spirited support.
A woman of warmth and whimsy, Mary Ann spread happiness and love wherever she went. Her family and friends will fondly remember her for those homemade cards, delicious treats like her famous sugar cookies and Dutch apple pie, and the dinners she hosted, where laughter was the main course. Whoever met Mary Ann gained a lifelong friend who never missed the opportunity for a quick call or a thoughtful gesture.
Life was an adventure with Mary Ann-whether sipping margaritas, mastering the art of sleeping while playing cards, lunch with coworkers - old and new or venturing on spontaneous girls' trips. She had a knack for storytelling, something that kept everyone around her laughing at the wild, hilarious situations she'd somehow find herself in. An active and enthusiastic participant in her community and her faith, Mary Ann was dedicated to her volunteer work with the Sisters of Notre Dame and a member of St Joseph, Cold Spring prayer groups.
Mary Ann's loving spirit and infectious laughter leaves a vibrant legacy. Her family and friends will deeply miss her, yet carry her lovingly in their hearts, savoring every cherished memory. Cheers to a remarkable woman who made life a little brighter for all who knew her.
Mary Ann is preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Jim Stulz; her parents, Ervin & Hilda (nee. Steffen) Geiman; her brothers, Gene (Sandy, the late Virginia) and Tom (Judy) Geiman. She is survived by her daughter, Holli (Mike) Daniels and son, Keagan Stulz; 3 grandchildren: Aydan, Ryan & Emma Daniels; brothers Carl (Barb) Geiman, LeRoy (Lois) Geiman and Ervin (Maria) Geiman.
