Our beloved mother Mary Ann Swartz Roe of Easton MD passed away peacefully on Monday August 26 at the age of 71, surrounded by her loved ones. She was an extraordinary mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. Mary Ann's unconditional love for her grandchildren was unmeasured.
Born in Easton MD on August 22nd 1953, Ms. Roe was the daughter of late Harry E. and Rose Moffa Swartz. Mary Ann worked at Pizza Hut and Candle Light Cove of Easton for many years and loved spending time with family, all things crafty and watching true crime documentaries while eating popcorn and potato chips. She also enjoyed playing bingo and gossiping with friends at The Pines(Easton) and Mallard Bay(Cambridge).
Ms.Roe is survived by her 3 children Justin Roe, Holly Roe, and Ian Roe. Grandchildren Jacob Roe(Taylor), Briana Thomas, Reagan Saia, Della Roe, Gavin Gillespie, Harper Roe, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister and 2 brothers, Rose Miles, Tom Swartz, and Jack Swartz.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
