Christine was born June 7, 1935 to the late Edward Moranz and Mary Schu Moranz in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. She had a gentle loving spirit and we will miss her steady peaceful presence in our lives. Christine loved the ocean, horses, dogs and her children and grandchildren. She graduated with a physical therapy degree from the University of Pennsylvania and worked in that field until her retirement. In the past 25 years however, she followed her passion and worked as a vet tech for the Federal Emergency Management Agency assisting to rescue animals in many disasters. An accomplished horsewoman, she rode almost every day and competed in endurance riding competitions for 40 years. Her husband of 67 years, Lindsay Cave Taliaferro, Jr. preceded her in death in 2023. She is survived by her children, Mary H. Taliaferro Kaczor, Lindsay C. Taliaferro III(Paula), and Edward Taliaferro. She leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The family will have a Celebration of her life at a later date. Donations can be sent to Sandhills Spay Neuter Veterinary Clinic at www.spayurpet.org
