Mary Therese McGreal was born and passed on Wednesday July 9, 2025 at University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am, Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bellevue.

Mary was loved and prayed for by so many, especially in the days leading up to her birth. We pray she is united with the communion of saints and our loved ones gone before her in heaven.

Survivors include her parents, Rachel and Joe (Timmerman) McGreal; maternal grandparents, Tom and Karen Timmerman; paternal grandparents, Peter and Kristi McGreal; maternal great-grandfather, Roman Timmerman; maternal great-grandmother, Kathryn Waterman; paternal great-grandparents, Tom and Sally McGreal; paternal great-grandfather, Jan Esch; aunts and uncles, Alex Timmerman, Erica (Ruben) Ortega, Jacob McGreal, Tim (Mandy) McGreal, Maria (Mike) Muto, Sam McGreal, and Dan McGreal; cousins, Arthur and Anne McGreal; and numerous other extended relatives.

Mary Therese was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Cecelia Timmerman and Warren Waterman and paternal great-grandmother, Vernell Esch.
