Mary Ann Thoman

Mary Ann Thoman, age 78 of Anderson Twp., died December 9, 2021. She was the cherished daughter of the late Edward Thoman and Elsie (Garvey) Thoman. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Mary Ann graduated from St. Ursula Academy. She worked for P&G in Acct. Payable where she helped transition into the computer age. She was an active Rosie Red, she volunteered with the Mercy Hospital Guild, and enjoyed the American Walkers association. She loved her two dachshund pups and was a favored dog sitter. She was the caregiver for her mother, aunt, and other friends along the way.
Mary Ann loved Immaculate Heart of Mary and all the friends she made there. A daily Mass-goer, she ministered in many ways, including counting the Sunday collections, working on Art and Environment, decorating for Senior lunches, and too many things to mention in the parish office. She loved traveling around the country with the Rosie Reds and to Europe with her IHM family. She was a quiet soul with a dry sense of humor loved by so many.
Mass of Christian burial is at Immaculate Heart of Mary, Anderson Township at 10 am on Wednesday December 15. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Ursula Academy or Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home serving the family.
