In Loving Memory of Mary Janette Sims Tindle
Born: June 29, 1935 – McAlester, Oklahoma
With profound love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Janette Sims Tindle, who left this world surrounded by the family she cherished. She lived a life rooted in love, faith, and the quiet strength that held her loved ones together.
Born to Clara Mae Duncan Sims and Miles Wesley Sims, Mary Janette grew up alongside her siblings-Richard Erwin Sims, Edgar Earl Sims, Virginia Marie Sims Augustson, and James Edwards Sims. She carried the bonds of family with deep affection and unwavering devotion. She was a gifted musician and passed on that musical legacy to her children, her grandchildren and even her great-grandchildren.
Her greatest joy was her children-Dana Sue Tindle McInnis, Cindy Diane Tindle (deceased), Debra LeAnn Tindle Dossett, and Ronald Wayne Tindle. She poured endless love into each of them, creating a family legacy that will endure for generations.
She cherished her role as a grandmother, embracing her grandchildren with open arms and boundless love: Jason Wayne McInnis, Lisa Marie McInnis McGuckin, Emilie Marie Dossett Williams, Andrew Joseph Dossett, Lauren Tara Bonds, Austin Michael Tindle, and Jessica Lynn Tindle O'Rourke. Her love extended even further to her 16 great-grandchildren, one of whom has gone ahead to welcome her home.
Her legacy is not just in the names of those she leaves behind but in the kindness she showed, the laughter she shared, and the wisdom she imparted. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Visitation will be held at Rader's Funeral Home on Monday, June 9th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. 1617 Judson Road Longview, TX 75601. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday June 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Ford's Chapel, First Baptist Church, 209 E. South St, Longview, TX 75601.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to Highway 80 Mission 3117 W. Marshall Ave., Longview, TX 75604 in honor of Mary Janette's lifelong spirit of generosity and service.
Though she may no longer walk among us, her love remains ever-present-a guiding light, a whispered memory, and a lasting embrace.
