Mary Elizabeth Warfield

Mary Elizabeth Warfield, 64, passed away peacefully at her home on November 13, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Mary was born and raised in Frankfort, Ky. She was married to the love of her life Steven Ray Warfield, who preceded her in death on March 24, 2024. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grammy, sister, aunt, and friend. Mary cared for everyone. She was always giving. She had a love of cooking, crafting, music, and singing. Mary loved caring for her grandchildren and spending time with family and friends. Mary could always find love in every situation. Mary was a member of Bridgeport Christian Church.
Mary is survived by her four children, Beth Ann (Nick) Alford, Amy Marie Burns, Mason Alan (Jessica) Kasinger, and Quentin Lee (Mattie) Gayhart Kasinger. Her grandchildren, Kinsley Payton Alford, Evan Andrew Alford, Annastyn Kate Alford, Hudson Myles Alford, Braelin Jade Burns, Lincoln Samuel Burns, Corbin Steven Kasinger, and Gavin Jack Kasinger. Her six siblings, Joy Broughton, Betty Martin, Grace Atteberry, Paul Gayhart, Joe Gayhart, and Manuel Gayhart. Mary is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews
Mary is preceded in death by her husband Steven Warfield and her parents Ernest Gayhart and Lois Lorraine Hamrick Gayhart.
A funeral service will be held at 6:00pm on Monday, November 17, 2025, at LeCompte Johnson Taylor. Pastor Ann Shepherd will be officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the time of service Monday. Memorial contributions can be made to Betty J. Martin L.I.F.E. House for Animals in honor of Mary Warfield.
