Mrs. Mary L. Whitcomb, 48 of Schenectady, NY.; beloved wife of Pastor Timothy Whitcomb, Sr., passed away on Thursday June 8, 2006 at her residence after a long illness. She was born in Newport and is the daughter of Collins K. Hall of Irasburg and the late Ruth H. Hall.

Mary had a wonderful dedication and love for children. She was associated with former New Life Nursery and more recently at Little One’s Nursery and Daycare in Schenectady.

She is the beloved wife of Pastor Timothy Whitcomb Sr. Beloved mother of Timothy G. (Tarra) Whitcomb Jr., Daniel G. Aaron N. and Shannon E. Whitcomb. Grandmother of Ian M.Whitcomb. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters, Nancy Sheltra of Derby, Larry Hall of Irasburg, Kenny Hall of Irasburg, Shirley McCormick of Irasburg, Joanne Cleveland of Orleans, Jim Hall of Irasburg, Judy Rotunno of Burlington, Tammy Gagnon of Orleans, Gail Grenier of North Troy, and Larry Paquette of Lyndonville, her mother-in-law, Florence Whitcomb of Hardwick, and many beloved brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers Robert and Danny Hall.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Monday June 12, 2006 at the Derby United Church, Main Street, Derby. Friends called from 1:30 PM until the hour of the funeral service at the church on Monday. Interment will follow at the Brownington Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent in Mary’s name to the New Life Ministries, 148 Clinton Street, Schenectady, NY. 12305. Arrangemnts are entrusted to the care of Curtis-Britch-Converse-Rushford Funeral Homes locally family owned and operated.
