Mary Kathleen Williams, 82, of Sherwood, AR, received her heavenly reward on March 14, 2024.
Kathy, as she was known to friends and family, was born in Wichita Falls, TX on September 11, 1941, to Ed and Mary Etta Rackley. She lived most of her childhood years in Nocona, Tx, before her family moved to Cyril, OK, where she graduated from High School in 1960. Kathy married Robert Dale Williams (Bob), on January 19, 1962. They enjoyed 53 years of marriage until his death on January 10, 2015. Kathy loved spending time with her family and friends, especially shopping with her daughter, Sherri Williams Hullett. She enjoyed reading and studying the Bible with others. She was an active member of the Sylvan Hills church of Christ.
Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, father and husband; brother, Carlen Rackley; sister, Becky Lasseter; and sister Bobbie Cressey. She is survived by her brother, Terry Rackley (Patricia); son, David Williams (Michele); daughter, Sherri Hullett (Donald); grandsons, Daniel Williams and Nathan Hullett; and granddaughter, Rachel Williams. She also had many nieces and nephews, who she loved dearly.
Visitation will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 21, at Smith Funeral Home, 7700 Hwy 107, Sherwood, AR 72120. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m., Friday, March 22, at Sylvan Hills church of Christ, 117 W. Maryland Ave., Sherwood, AR 72120. Internment will be at the Arkansas State Veteran’s Cemetery, North Little Rock.
