Mary Etta Wolf

Mary Etta Wolf, of Hurley, MO, passed away on November 04, 2025, at the age of 91. She was born on September 04, 1934, in Hurley, MO, to Leon and Gladys (Wright) Langley and was one of two children in the home. She attended school in Hurley and on June 02, 1951, she married Willis Ray Wolf. This union was blessed with four children, Stan, Miles, Brian and Angele. Mary was an amazing Mom who worked very hard to provide for her family and support them in all their activities and adventures. She loved being out in nature, especially in a canoe on the river. She loved taking pictures of the rock bluffs and all the spectacular scenery. Mary and Willis enjoyed taking road trips visiting the country's national parks and would be gone for two to three weeks at a time. When not enjoying nature, Mary enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and reading western novels. She was a longtime member of Hurley Baptist Church, having served as a church clerk for many of those twenty-six years. Mary had a full and happy life and left so many great memories for her family and friends to remember her by. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Willis and her brother Dewey Langley. Mary is survived by her children Stan (Myrna) Wolf, Miles (Gail) Wolf, Brian (Edie) Wolf and Angele (Jeff) Brann, eight grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren as well as other extended family and friends. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 1-2 pm with a Celebration of Mary's life to follow at 2p.m. at Hurley Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Winfree officiating. She will be buried next to her husband in Wright Chapel Cemetery following the services.
