Mary Youngblood passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at her residence. She was a devoted wife, mother, Nana, sister and "bonus Nana" to so many. She graduated from Statesboro High School in 1978 and went on to obtain her cosmetology license. Mary owned and operated her own salon and cosmetology school for many years before opening a home daycare, where she lovingly cared for countless babies and families. Mary had a true servant's heart. She was known for her selflessness, kindness, and her love for people. She faithfully served the Lord as a member of Bible Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Billy Youngblood; her parents, Thomas and Iver Brinson; and her brother, Johnny Brinson. Mary is survived by her three daughters: Amanda Youngblood, Jennifer (Kyle) Rovansek, and Summer (Jonathan) Faust; five grandchildren: Hunter, Cole, Hope, Brooklyn, and Bayleigh; her sister, Gail (Alan) Hart; her brother, Kenny (Shayne) Brinson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and faithful friends who will miss her dearly. A memorial service will be held by the family at Bible Baptist Church, 889 GA Hwy 24, Statesboro, GA 30461, at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10th. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Family Life Center Fund at Bible Baptist Church. Friends may sign the online register book at www.joineranderson.com. Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home & Crematory in Statesboro is in charge of the arrangements.
