Maryann Dean

Maryann Dean, 59, of Oak Ridge, NJ, passed away on October 3, 2023. She was born on March 28, 1964, in Paterson, NJ, to Albert and June Puget. Maryann was a selfless person who touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
Maryann is survived by her beloved husband, Robert; her mother, June; her daughters, Jessica and Kelly; her brothers, Albert and Kenny; her sister, Debbie; and her cherished grandchildren, Jacob and Carson. She was preceded in death by her father, Albert, and her parents-in-law, Robert and Marie.
Maryann made the world a brighter place. She was known for her thoughtfulness and compassion towards others. Her warm and caring nature made a lasting impact on the lives she touched. She was a committed wife of 40 years, marrying her middle school sweetheart. Love at first sight since 1977, they were truly meant to be. She was a loving, devoted mother and grandmother, always putting everyone's needs above her own. There was nothing she wouldn't do for the ones she loved. She enjoyed being with family and friends whether being outdoors, making crafts and her trademark birthday cake, holiday ornaments and chocolate, doing home projects, and watching Judge Judy. She was the most thoughtful gift giver. But the most important is that she just loved to be there for you. Now she will be there, but in a different way, being the best guardian angel you could ever imagine.
Maryann attended Pompton Lakes High School, where she received her education. She worked at Scian & Scian for 26 years with a wonderful group of people whom she considered family. Dr. John and Dr. Joe, all of her coworkers and the patients, knew and loved her infectious, uplifting attitude. She was sure to greet and leave you with a smile on.
A ceremony to celebrate Maryann's life will be held on October 8, 2023, from 4-7pm at Scanlan Funeral Home in Pompton Plains, NJ.
Maryann Dean will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
