MaryAnn Wahlers

MaryAnn Wahlers age 83, of Sea Girt, NJ passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family December 3, 2023. MaryAnn was born in New York City. She lived in Sea Girt raising her family for many years. MaryAnn was a legal secretary in the state of New York until she retired. She enjoyed reading on the porch and playing scrabble with her sister, she also loved animals.
She was predeceased by her parents Anthony and Anna Sniechkus and by her companion of over 40 years John J Wrenn. She is survived by her sister Agnes Sniechkus of Spring Lake Heights, her daughter Veronica and husband David Behnken of Manasquan, NJ, her stepdaughter Caroline and husband Jim Caldwell of Wall, NJ.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, 9:30 am on Monday December 11, 2023, at St. Marks Church in Sea Girt. The visitation will be Monday December 11, 2023, from 11 am to 1 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ after the mass. Interment to follow at St. Anne Cemetery, Wall. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Monmouth County SPCA 260 Wall Street Eatontown, NJ 07724.
