MaryJane Guth

Maryjane Guth, 76, of Mt. Penn, passed away on October 31, 2025, in her residence.

Born in Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Alva and Mary D. (Schiarrone) Guth.

Maryjane was a laundry supervisor and later a Certified Nursing Assistant at Brandywine Nursing Home in West Chester. She previously worked at various hotels in hospitality.

She enjoyed social gatherings, bingo, dining with family and friends, and previously was a member of Woman's Home League, a Catholic women's group. In her unique way, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and companion.

Maryjane is survived by her daughter, Roalie A. Guth, Wenersville; four grandchildren: Yolaisi Seem, Rosetta Place, Alicia Place, and Tony Karmel; and seven great-grandchildren: Ricardo Cepedes, Jr., Donte Place, Myles Gilbert, Angelo Karmel, Gina Capaccione, Rosaelaina Place, and Roman Place.

She was predeceased by her grandson, Ricardo Cespedes, Sr., and her brothers, Russell and Joseph Guth.

Services for Maryjane will be celebrated at 4 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025 Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 5153 Kutztown Rd, Temple, PA 19560. Family and friends may gather from 3 p.m. until the beginging of the service. Burial will be held privately at the request of the family.
