Mason Herrin Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lewis Funeral Home - Navarre Chapel on Sep. 14, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Mason Herrin, age 21, of Navarre, Florida, passed away on September 10, 2025. Though his time here was far too short, Mason filled his life with energy, laughter, and a passion for the things he loved most.

Anyone who knew Mason, knows how much football meant to him. Whether watching, talking, or wearing his Garnett and Gold proudly, his excitement was infectious.

When he wasn't watching football, Mason could be found on his bike chasing freedom on the open road. He had a love of cars and owned a few of them. Unfortunately, most of them didn't work, but he never gave up!

More than anything, Mason loved his family and friends fiercely. His smile, his energy, and his kindness left an imprint on every life he touched.

Mason is deeply loved by his Mom, Dina Herrin; his Dad, Michael Herrin, and his bonus Mom, Becky Herrin. He was a proud brother to Kylie, Tristin, and Zachry (Abbey), and a grandson to Jim and Ann Herrin and Jack and Nerida Sanders. Mason's love for family was matched by the bond he shared with his uncles, David (Jewelene) Herrin and Phillip (Priscilla) Herrin and countless friends he considered brothers.

Mason's presence will forever be missed, but his memory will live on in the laughter, love, and stories shared by those who knew him best.

A memorial service to celebrate Mason Herrin will be held on Thursday, September 18, at First Baptist Church of Navarre, 9302 Navarre Parkway, Navarre, Florida 32566 at 2:00pm. In honor of his love for football, the family invites all who attend to wear their favorite team's colors or jersey. Let's fill the room with the same joy and spirit he carried with him every single day.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made in Mason's honor to Caring and Sharing of South Santa Rosa County (https://santarosacares.org)
