Matthew Caldwell Obituary
Matthew was a member of the Special Friends Ministry of Mobberly Baptist Church in Longview, Texas. He was a fan of superheroes including Spiderman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Batman. He loved Uno cards and would rarely be found without them in his hands. Matthew had a smile that would light up the room and was always happy.
Matthew gained his wings at his home in Big Sandy, Texas on December 18, 2025. He is preceded in death by his father and leaves behind his mother, Carol L. Caldwell of Washington; brothers: Michael Caldwell and Jason Caldwell as well as many friends.
A graveside service for Matthew will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Edwards Cemetery in Mount Pleasant officiated by Scott Schulik of Mobberly Baptist Church.
