Matthew R. Dallmann (Jobes). Obituary Born 12/28/81
Matthew R. Dallmann (Jobes) of Burlington NJ passed away suddenly May 17, 2025 at the age of 43 years. Matthew grew up in Burlington Township and attended St Paul Elementary School in Burlington and Holy Cross High School in Delran and was a member of the Class of 2000 where he played and enjoyed baseball, golf, soccer and hockey. Matthew became a Junior Member of the Rancocas Golf Club. He enjoyed skiing, then snowboarding with his Dad Jeff. Their most memorable trip was to Colorado and skiing that "white powder". Matthew, Jeff and his Uncle Rick also enjoyed many years of dirt bike riding down in the "Pines". Matthew also took up wakeboarding with friends in Florida. He enjoyed coaching his son Miles' T-Ball team a few years back. Most recently he joined the adult hockey club at Grundy's in Bristol PA.
Matthew loved his Italian family and heritage. He learned to speak and became fluent in Italian from his elder family members and studied Italian all 4 years at Holy Cross H.S. He went to Italy twice in his early twenties, visited with family and explored Italy and also Amsterdam. Matt loved cooking favorite family recipes with his mom and family.
Matthew had a love for music. Early on he took piano lessons that fostered a love for composing and writing his own songs. We all would love to hear him play. He was a self-taught guitarist as well and enjoyed jamming with his Dad Norm Jr.
After high school, he was accepted into Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Florida where he earned his degree in Aeronautical Sciences with a minor in Meteorology and obtained his pilot license becoming a member of the American Pilot Association. He also attended St Joseph's University in Philadelphia and later pursued a law degree in Intellectual Property Law at Ava Maria University in Naples Florida then transferring to Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan. In May of 2012, Matt represented Senator Rubio's Office at the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at the Veteran Center in Naples Florida and attended a Memorial Day Service and thanking an injured Iraq/Afghanistan soldier for his service.
Matthew had an entrepreneurial spirit, working on patents & start-up companies. He was previously employed in sales & project management, later starting his own construction company and was a real estate agent for Berkshire Hathaway.
Matthew had a fun spirit and loved playing with his kids, nieces and nephews. He had a big heart. He would do anything over and beyond for anyone he loved.
Matthew was preceded in death by his father Norman Jobes Jr, and his grandparents Norman Sr and Catherine Jobes and Marjorie and Donald Hogan, his uncle Michael Hogan, his sister-in-law Heather Hogan and his beloved dogs Rocky, Thor and Maxwell.

I remember Matthew Richard Dallman as Dickie Dallman. I met him
through Dave Rothbum(Now deceased). We enjoyed many hours of
doubles tennis at Veteran's Park in Burlington Twp.Seeing a "Diane Jobes"
adding a message, he must have known "Storming Norman Jobesy" also.
I am Leroy Branch of Burlington Twp and now in Burlington City(Fawn
Hollow neighborhood). I am sad to say that I am one of few that remain
from a wonderful gang of "Tennis Hackers"!
Rest in peace my friend Dickie!
