Dean William Dallmann

Dean William Dallmann, 74, from Macungie, PA, went peacefully to his eternal home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 30, 2025. He had battled a series of health issues over the last two years. Dean was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 13, 1951. The son of William S. and Barbara C. Dallmann. Dean graduated high school from The Phelps School in Malvern, PA. He went on to graduate from Ashland University in Ashland, OH, where he also played soccer. He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Lynnette B. Dallmann, his two children, Faith A. (Dallmann) Towner (Brian) and Todd W. Dallmann (Lauren), and two grandchildren (Caleb and Boyd Towner). He is also survived by his sister, Dianne D. Reich, as well as nieces, nephews and friends who miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his parents, William S. and Barbara C. Dallmann and sister Dana D. Anthony.

Dean's broadcast advertising career of 41 years included WMMR in Philadelphia, PA followed by WFMZ in Allentown, PA. He was a man of varied interests and hobbies including golf, scuba diving, church softball, snow and water skiing, boating and cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles. Dean always enjoyed a good competition. His passion was turning wrenches on sports cars, hot rods and motorcycles. He enjoyed Florida in the winter and traveling in his RVs. He collected antique clocks and designed original steam punk art. His primary interest was being a private pilot and later flying RC airplanes. He treasured time with his family, a good joke and hearty laugher.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Bethany Church, 1208 Brookside Road, Allentown, PA 18106 on Saturday, January 17th, 2026, with visitation hours from 10-11:30 a.m. and a service at 11:30 a.m. For those unable to attend, the service may be streamed at https://bethanychurchpa.com/
