Matthew Timothy Davis
Matthew Timothy Davis, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on July 17, 2025, after sustaining a neck injury as the result of a bicycle accident. Services will be held at Open Door Bible Church, 16211 S Outer Rd, Belton, MO 64012, on Friday, July 25, 2025. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm.
Matthew was born in Overland Park, Kansas, on March 22, 1994, to Brian Davis and Sherylynn (Dexter) Davis. Matthew grew up in Raymore, MO, graduated from Ray-Pec High School, and attended Longview College. His only sibling, Pepper (Hannah), was born seven years later. He is survived by his daughter Vaida, parents, sibling, and many cousins, aunts, and uncles. Matthew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Warren and Sallyann Dexter, William and Roma Davis, and cousin Sarah Smith.
Matthew's friendly, outgoing nature made him many friends throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed being with his family, doing outdoor activities, playing pool, raising his pets, and just hanging out with his friends. He often expressed his deep love for his daughter Vaida, saying she was the best part of his life. He was a kind, intelligent man who developed many skills throughout his life and started his own businesses. He is greatly loved by his family and friends, who will always miss him.
