Matthew James Dixon, 36, of St. Helens, Oregon, passed away on October 14, 2024. Born on January 25, 1988, at OHSU in Portland, Oregon, Matthew lived a vibrant life filled with love, laughter, and adventure.
Matthew earned a degree in computer programming and dedicated himself to scrap yard work, showcasing his strong work ethic and determination. He moved to St. Helens to be closer to his beloved family, particularly his mother, Pamela, and his sister, Josie.
A true enthusiast of life, Matthew enjoyed video games, church gatherings, and spending quality time with friends. He cherished memorable experiences, including a recent trip to the coast for deep-sea fishing, a camping adventure with his grandparents, and attending a Blazers game.
Matthew is survived by his four children: Kaidance, Landen, Matthew Jr., and Isabella. He is also mourned by his mother, Pamela Dixon; father, Charles Dixon; brother, Miles Dixon; sister, Josie Dixon; nephew, baby Ares; and his loving grandparents, Polly and Chuck, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Resonate Church, located in St. Helens, Oregon.
Matthew's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed.
