Matthew was 17 years old when he passed suddenly on September 29th, 2023. He was the youngest child of Erica Duran and Francisco Amesquita. His siblings were Monique, Julio, Britney and Miranda. He had one niece, Addy, whom he adored. When Matthew was born July 23rd, 2006 he truly completed our family. He was so full of life and joy, any day for Matt was a day worth adventure. He loved making memories and taking family trips. He loved skateboarding and playing video games. But most importantly he loved his family with every inch of himself. Even though he was young Matt had big goals and plans for his future. His long term girlfriend Alicia helped steer him in this direction as well. Matt kept God on his shoulder and wanted nothing more than to be a good man and some day husband to his girlfriend. He wanted to work to make his mom and dad proud. Someone his siblings admire, so he worked, and read his bible every day. There wasn't a day Matt wasn't happy, he could never be mad for long. His heart was too big and pure. He loved and loved and was always thankful for his life. He was the sassy younger brother that beat his siblings to the jokes. He helped his dad because he knew that's what he needed most. He was his mothers angel and helped her understand that he will always be the baby, her baby. He was the sweet gentleman to his girlfriend greeting her with gifts and thoughtful notes. But most importantly his life was to the lord as he comforted those around him with bible verses and kind words. One word I leave with you today one that Matt himself read and quoted is " The pain you feel today, Can't compare to the joy that is coming" Romans 8:18
To say that Matthew's life was cut to short.. that he barely got to experience anything will always be a pain felt. But Matthew himself was life and the way he loved was powerful. He had the kindest heart and there is no pain in knowing that Matthew's life is fully blooming in heaven.
