To Matt's family:
I was so heartbroken to hear of Matt's death on Sunday afternoon that being a parent of four children I can't think of what happened without trembling. Matt was one of Marco's closest friends and I was happy to know he associated with such a fine young man coming from such a giving, loving family. I have been praying so hard for you all and for Matt since I heard. Only God can help you all through this but remember...our true home is in heaven where we will all be together again someday. We are long time friends of the Silliman family (Katie, Matt's girlfriend) and had the opportunity to meet Matt and spend time with them in Sanibel Island last June. He was a fine young man and we enjoyed hearing of and experiencing their blossoming love story. Our heart aches for you dear Katie, Dan, Beth and Paul and to Matt's family, all of you have and will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. It is our prayerful wish that you will find comfort and peace in the days and years to come in the wonderful memories you now treasure in your heart.
