Matthew S "Matt" Farmer

Matthew "Matt" S. Farmer, age 51, of Conyers, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Leon Madison Hughes, Jr and Betty Bell Hughes, and Weyman Franklin Farmer and Edna Mae Farmer. Matt is survived by his father, Stuart Farmer and mother, Deborah "Debbie" Farmer, of Hoschton, GA; brother, Brian (Kristen) Farmer of Hoschton; nephews, Tyler Farmer, Wesley Farmer, William Farmer; fiancée, Mandy Osteen of Conyers; aunts, Melissa (Butch) Lowe of Mineral Bluff, GA and Cindi (John) Fuller of Winston, GA; and several cousins. Mr. Farmer was born on June 9, 1974 in Atlanta, GA, He graduated from Parkview High School in Lilburn, GA in 1992 and attended Savannah College of Art and Design. In 2021 he received a degree from Independent Electrical Contractors. He was employed as a master electrician with Electrical Contractor for the past ten years. He previously lived in Whitefish, Montana for eight years, and loved the outdoors, hiking, and snowboarding. He will always be remembered for his kind and caring spirit, along with his humor. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. with a reception to follow at Celebration Church in Hoschton with Pastor Mike Day and Pastor Joshua Carr officiating.
