Matthew James Francis, born on April 19, 1990, in Long Island, (Nassau County) New York, passed away suddenly on July 19, 2025, at his residence. He was 35 years old.

Matt's journey in life was marked by a strong dedication to education and career. He earned his bachelor's degree in Computer Science, which led him to a fulfilling career in the medical field as a Computer IT professional at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. His expertise and commitment to enhancing technology in healthcare contributed to the well-being of many patients and the efficiency of the medical staff.

Matthew was deeply loved and cherished by his family. He is survived by his parents, James Anthony Francis and Cindy Berrent Francis; his brother, Andrew Francis, and sister-in-law, Kassandra; as well as his maternal grandparents, Les and Arline Berrent and a special aunt, Gail Greilsamer. He also leaves behind a circle of many wonderful friends who admired his kindness and generosity.

He is remembered by his family for the joy he brought into their lives and the memories they created together. Matthew is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Geraldine Francis, who surely welcomed him with open arms.

Matthew's impact on those around him will be long-remembered, and his legacy will continue through the lives he touched both personally and professionally. His absence is felt deeply by all who knew him, and he will be forever in their hearts.
