Matthew David Hetrick 37 of Trimont, MN, passed away September 5th, 2025. Celebration of life will be held in Homer, NE, at the VFW on October 18th, 2025, at 11:30am-3:30pm.
Matthew was born to Jack Hetrick and Victoria (Milander) Kennedy on March 4th, 1988, in Sioux City, Iowa. He grew up in Walthill, NE, and later moved to Coleridge, NE, and graduated. He spent most of his day working in meat packing plants. Matthew loved being outdoors hunting, fishing, woodworking and watching his Green Bay Packers play football. He also loved being surrounded by family and friends. He was well known for being the life of the party and for putting a smile on anyone's face even on a bad day.
Matthew is survived by his two children; son Mack Mullen of Laurel, NE and daughter; Arabella(Bella) Bethel of Gretna NE; One sister and spouse Bridget and Trent Kumm of Howells NE; Two brothers and spouses; Jeremy and Mandy Hetrick of Lincoln NE, Jacob and Rachel Hetrick of Sioux City, Iowa; Grandmother; Lois Milander of Hartington, NE; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceded in death by his mother Victoria Lee Kennedy on December 29th, 2011, his father Jack Edward Hetrick on January 23, 2020. Grandparents Philip & Marjorie (Morse) Hetrick, Wendell Milander. Aunt; Janice Sampson; Uncles; Chuck Hetrick Philip (Flip) Hetrick, and Greg Hetrick.
